The Cambrian Main Line travels through some of the most varied and beautiful scenery in the country while the Cambrian Coast Line provides one of the most stunningly attractive coastal rail journeys anywhere in the UK.
Cardigan Bay offers one of the greenest UK coastal tourism destinations and The Cambrian Railways provide the ideal way of visiting and enjoying the 'Bay'. What could be better than riding, cycling or walking in the inspiring Cambrian Mountains, the breathtaking Snowdonia National Park or the Llŷn Peninsula's Area of Outstanding Beauty? All of which are easily accessible by train.
Mid Wales is 'Red Kite Country' where it is common to see these magnificent birds of prey soaring high in the fresh clean mountainous air. It is also home to the diving dolphins and seals of Cardigan Bay that frolic freely in the blue surf - you can sometimes see these from your seat on the train.
There are historic towns, seaside resorts, magnificent castles, narrow gauge railways, museums and other leisure facilities - a whole host of places to visit and things to do for all the family, available all year round.
Whether you are planning an activity weekend, a relaxing week on the coast or fun family day out - it's all on offer in this stunning part of Wales.
There is a wide range of discount tickets and cards available including:
Visit the Arriva Trains Wales website, call in at your local ticket office or ask the on-train Conductor for further details.
If you are traveling For Work or For Fun - there's no better way to go than on the train, so…go on, get on the right track…The Cambrian Railways.

"I very much welcome initiatives such as this which not only promote local public transport services but also the attraction of Rural Wales as a whole. The Cambrian Coast line's new Gazer will contribute to a greater understanding and appreciation of our country's outstanding coastal and mountain scenery.
"This new initiative is another example of how the Cambrian Railways Partnership are delivering projects that support the wider economy in an area where tourism is an important industry."

Ieuan Wyn Jones AM,
, Deputy First Minister, Minister for Transport and the Economy
