Llwyngwril Station just got knitted!

LLwyngwril Station on the Cambrian Coast LineAnyone who's recently visited Llwyngwril, nestled between Tywyn and Barmouth on the Cambrian Coast line may well have spotted various knitted items dotted about the place.

Well, now it seems that Llwyngwril Station itself has succumbed to this needlework!

But, far from being some Banksy-type covert street art, this is actually part of a local campaign organised by the local community there to help draw attention in a fun way to a local cause to raise funds to maintain the local community centre - Y Ganolfan (The Centre).

The knitted items are dotted about all over, and form part of a wider (but easily managable) trail around the village.

So, if you're passing through up the Cambrian Coast, why not hop off at Llwyngwril and see if you can find them all, and maybe pop a few coins in to support their cause.
