It's been nearly a month since my last mini blog where I introduced myself as the new Development Officer for the Cambrian Railway Partnership. I have settled into the role well and have started to venture out on several train journeys, meeting community groups who have kindly welcomed me with open arms.
I took a trip to Borth where I visited Borth Station Museum with George and Jo who are the curators. You can read all about this trip in following post on Instagram. The museum is well worth a visit if you are on the train down to Aberystwyth. Check for openings by contacting them on their website.
After spending a marvellous morning at the museum, I went on a brisk walk up the hill in the glorious sunshine to Borth Community Hub and Family Centre.
Helen and her team* were very welcoming, and with a cup of tea in hand I was shown all the different things that they do in and for the community.
Activities for Older Adults and a Community Garden.
Catch up with their latest news here.

It is a very busy space and run with lots of thought and care. I am coming back as I am going to see the organisers of the Borth Arts Festival after Easter, which looks to be a great event over the Whit Weekend. Gŵyl BorthFfest May 23rd - 26th 2025.
Question: Do you know the name of the drama series that was made in Borth and Aberystwyth?
